I once wondered in an unknown land. In my mind I could see it, hand in hand. I saw a glorious light, Shining down as a star in the sky, Piercing through the darkness of the blackest night. A stairway to heaven appeared before my eyes.
Refrain: Marching up the path to Zion, In that moment I saw I was moving on. A gentle breeze in the air, I felt the wonder of gladness, With the clouds around me, In the Dream of Zion.
2nd Verse: To the moment I have been waiting for, Marching up the stairway to heaven's door. Walking along the golden road, The truth revealed was widely known. More and more I could see in the dream, The city of Zion as a bright gleam.
